Acupuncture

We use the Western Scientific approach to Acupuncture primarily to help pets with long term pain management.

This is usually done alongside more conventional treatments such as pain medications, exercise and weight management and specific food supplements to provide a multi-modal therapy that best suits individual patients.

If you would like to investigate the use of acupuncture in your pet, please contact the St Andrews clinic and we will be able to discuss the possibility of using acupuncture to help your pet.

Treatment usually starts with four weekly sessions, before dropping down to less frequent booster sessions, but each pet’s response is individual and we aim to tailor to plan to suit each case as we go.
